First books for 2026: TIGER GIRLS and TEAM BUILDING
It felt important this year to stack my wins early, so I thought I should get around to finally reading Felicia and Claire's TIGER GIRLS. I am glad I finally did, but also embarrassed that it took me this long. I did not even know I was in the acknowledgements, though Felicia may have told me but I forgot.
It was a beautiful comic, with clearly two intelligent creators. I also told Felicia that her short story at the end is yet another testament to the fact that she's a good writer. (Mayhap an agent will stumble upon this post and offer her representation?)
Anyway, dropped some good words with a friend who will also hopefully spread the word and left a review on Goodreads, so will see what else I can do to support TIGER GIRLS.
I also finished Siege Malvar's 2026 reading wrap-up, once again on IG. I do wish I could figure out how to embed images here correctly, so that I don't have to rely on links to IG.
