Influencer, and Atom Araullo’s book signing

It’s been a minute. I’m back because I told a friend looking for an alternative blogging platform about Bear Blog, and he set one up. Look at me, influencing, lol. (I’d tell you to drop a word, Adam, if you find this, but I haven’t figured out how to do comments yet or even set up the RSS feed).

Anyway, many, many bookish things in the last month and a half. Funnily, today, I valiantly tried to post the rest of my Hay-on-Wye dream trip last year. I mostly finished. Maybe I really should go for the paid tier here already, so I don’t have to rely on IG to carry my memory.

But on more current things, went to Atom Araullo’s launch at Fully Booked today. I was late (intentionally, because I do badly need sleep), so I was no. 109 among the pre-registered. There was a cheer for the walk-ins after my number for the signing was called; they’d been waiting for at least a couple of hours.

I do love seeing jam-packed author signings. Still in my fuck-you-yes-Filipinos-read-especially-the-young era.
